uw unwrap help

uw unwrap help

is there any here that can help me uw unwrap my newest object?

i made a space pad but i cant get the uw wrapping sorted out

if some can help out that would be awesome

if some can help i can send it over by msn

and i have a lot of other objects as well that i havnt finished since it havent got any texture....yet

go to unrap UV maps and hit edit

i only get a front veiw of my shuttle u see
i have read and watchd several tuts on this but still cant figure it out

i suggest you try 3 diffrent maps on that project, 1 for the ship,1 for the platform and another for that stacked metal

dont do a planar map, try box. If your doing it like i think you are, then you are using the UVW Map modifier, not the Unwrap UVW map modifier that you might be better off with

theres so many diffrent ways to texture items it realy is hard to just flat out explain. the best way is to just keep experimenting, like your model there will be hard to do cause there is so much to it, thats why i suggest breaking it down and only working on one object at a time.
