Hiya Dunny. As Bull says, good to see you in here!
The detail in this game looks awsome and so many peeps seem to rave about it - I'm just waiting for the January sales now!

Hey Dzine. Try these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0009RW87C/ref=dp_olp_3/203-8274262-7009561

And yes- it does feel the most 'Nova' of the games out there.

Hey Dunny. Nice work m8. Keep us posted. ;)

Hey Dunny- you having to scale BHD assets up or down m8? What ratio?
Any other changes needed to 3DIs/.dds files before they're useful in COD2?

Maybe a few ppl can give you a hand.

3di/dds

Postby dunny_uk » 12-29-2006 07:46 AM

at the moment zed im putting the dds files in photoshop and using the radient asset manager to import em in. then im making the pieces individually and texturing them with those textures..

its great because using the asset manager you can import anything u want as long as its in .dds format and is sized to the power of 2..

there are tutorials on how to import models from maya/3dmax into cod2 but it all goes over my head...

im waiting for dzine to buy cod2 so he can do it loooool...

to be honest tho importing models would only really be usefull for the likes of u guys that allready hav loads of stuff made..

i wouldnt hav a clue how to extract models from delta lol..

imagine tho all your models for delta - imported into cod2.. lol..
i think thats what most of us mappers want -- delta with a better game engine and graphics..and an unlimited source of new bits to play with..

http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-359.html

the tutorial i wrote for radient is really just a progress report as i first started to use radient from scratch but its in our forums (cod2) section... on scousers so your welcome to go read or grab it and put it in here..
