i LOVE the shadows on that, there's so many diff things you can do on that terrain as a mapmaker.. pepper the hills with bunkers, have a heavily-fortified compound on a huge plain, etc... i want to see some of these in mods!

Ahaaa."Shadows".Thanks for noticing....;)
Yep, I got a new toy to play with,so I can add light maps to the
_c.tga now.Certainly adds character to the final terrain.Still need to tweak a few things though. Not totally happy with the polytrn_detailmap_c3.If anyone has a good un lying around ,send it over.lol.....
Thanks for the comments chap`s.Catcha l8er;)

I always picture frozen flat land when i think of tundra. Thats a great mountain terrain though. Shadows really look great, would like to know how you did them ;)

Bloody hell LoA ,was hoping you wouldn`t notice.lmao.
No your correct bud."Nit picking is what I`m looking for"
Makes me try that little bit harder u see;)
Still working on a smoother blending of the
polytrn_detailmap_c2 .When I`ve sorted it I`ll post again to show what a difference a really well blended detmap can make.

Cheers
:D
oh btw...Not bryce,got the free version,tried it,don`t like it.
