The tool should be able to do it. Are you extracting it to the right pff? Else redownload the file and install it again, nine out ten it works. Good luck. If it doesn't work, just reply.

Cheers

Hello Darksniper75

No it not works.

I have used the Weapon.def file from Extreem mod and put it in the file localres.pff in the game Delta Force Xtreme and it works.

I have the Weapon in the Game the G3, G36, M16, M16/203, M4, M4/203, and P90 it works great.

Now i am using the tool DeSCR.exe i used "Key: BHD/TS/JO" and klick on Decrypt now i have a weapon.def.txt its a text file that i can edit.

Now i wont to Encrypt the file now i am klick on Encrypt and it not Works, then i am using the key bhd/ts/jo it make a file and when i looking in the file it is a scr file....
when i am using the key: Jo:E Beta and i am looking in the file it show thats its korrekt. I am packing it to the Localres.pff and it not work i have not one Weapon.

Why i can Encrypt the weapon.def for Delta Force Xtreme???

I have the Extreem Mod for Joint Ops converted to Delta Force Xtreem it works i can play Bhd and Joint Ops Maps in Delta Force Xtreme.

Only Problem is that i have only the Weapon G3, G36, M16, M16/203, M4, M4/203, and P90.

I think i am editing the Weapon.def but i can it not encrypt it not works.

Can anyone Help?

I have a different tool at home i can try it for ya when i gt home from work , in about 6 hours or so , if ya don't get it by then . But if you used the tool you have to decrypt it to text then it should work to re encrypt it again as it uses the same key code to do both .

If you have another Weapon.def file in your main Xtreme
folder (even if not encrypted, i.e.as a text file) it will
be used instead of the one in localres.pff.

I use this feature for testing purposes if I make any
changes to ammo.def or weapon.def. I just leave them in
text format in the main game folder. When I am satisfied,
then I will encrypt them and add them to localres.pff.

Problem is, I am never satisfied so I just use the text
file instead. Check to make sure you do not have an unwanted
weapons.def file in your game folder. (outside of the .pff)
