Building your first test map for COD2

This is where I suggest you start if you are interested in COD2 mapping but have no idea where to start. You will have to register to download this video but its an awsome resource site and I suggest you do it if you wanna learn COD2 mapping.

The one thing he isn't real clear on is the .GSC file. He tells you how to make it but more code actually needs to be in that file to get your map to run.

Here is an example of the proper code to get things going after you compile your map.

Follow the guys's instructions for making the .GSC just add above code and change the three instances of the map name to your map name.

Example:

// maps\mp\mp_yourmapname_fx::main();

Np problem bro. I figured I'll start posting some of the things that slowed me down so hopefully people can benefit from all the headache I went through and bypass the area's that gave me problems.

i noticed that my lybia and some of the textures arent showing like iwa jima you get any of the same, bytw working on a cliff section for my map finaly
