3.5k tris....so- maybe not.

Carbine has 8 buttons. One for each weapon function

300 point energy core, but buttons switch between MG, Silent SMG, Assault rifle, grenades, sniper zoom etc.

sniper bullets = 30 points each
Grenades = 50 points each (regardless of type)
Rockets= 150 points each
Silent MG/ Standard rounds =1 point each

Must replenish whole core at armoury point (droid/dispenser/energy points etc).

Has knife as backup- not modelled yet.


Simple, but could be fun gameplay. Makes every player very versatile...

This doesn't do justice to the original - loses some of the particulate details as a gif... and the original only takes about 1 second from start to finish...

i love them! and you are a good artist, i like your shading on your original drawing. :D

it would be crazy using those things in game. I cannot even begin to imagine what it would look like. it would be like playing a game full of renders!!

hey turtle, if you have access to a nintendo 64, please go out and buy jet force gemini. you will get some awesome ideas.

i've got an idea for gameplay... since it might get a little out of hand having all weapons on a single gun!

maybe create just a few different guns, each one representing a class?

it'd be like each gun would be the entire class selection on it, so you wouldn't switch weapons.

man those look fantastic turtle. :cool:

Good idea...I'm still working on it. I'd prefer the idea of the energy core units being spent wisely...it would limit the snipers to a few well-chosen shots, reduce the need for class swaps, and, I think, even the playing field.

It would also reduce the amount of texture memory needed, especially if only two player models, one weapons model, and one 1st person weapon needed to be dynamically displayed.

That should cut down on some lag issues and sys dumps!
