emplaced weapon template

this is a 30 cal that i made for a ww2 project that never got off ground. im not going to write a tut for this. if you folks have feed back or questions just try to ask on this page so atleast the next person along will be able to find most info in one thread.



ok this zip includes
1, my custom 30 cal 3di "j0"
2. 30 cal max 5 template
3. super oed setings for this project
4. ase of the gun
5. the weapon and items def for this gun.

be sure to take note in the textures section i have a animated bullet texture riding up the chain to feed the gun.

out side of that if you pay attention and use the naming set up there should be a problem.

such as post will be 01 object and the gun will be 02 so the gun will rotate off the 01 object

i find that this set up of useing a 01 object as some kind of mount and the gun as 02 works well in game.Image

really good of you to share that LOA. :D

With emplaced weapons, as far as im concerned, the possibilities are endless. Stationary TOW emplacements.. Stinger emplacements for base defence.. An emplacement that is a TOW <b>and</b> a 50 cal at the same time..

i tested this in DFX and only ended up shooting blanks, the rest of the gun was perfect. If someones put this in game id like to know if they have it working. im probably doing somthing simple wrong over here but ive been looking for almost two hours and cant find a solution.. maybe ill test it in jo. :o

the def info might be lame it has been so long since i messed with it. i just pulled the info i had handy
